We had Julianna's 2nd birthday party this weekend. It was a great day, the weather cooperated (it didn't rain) but there were some weird temperature swings that had some people putting on sweatshirts and others sweating.
Julianna had a Dora party for her birthday complete with a massive taco bar.
A few statistical highlights
- 15 pounds of taco meat
- 6 pounds of chicken taco meat
- 6 dozen soft taco tortillas
- 4 dozen hard taco shells
- 10 pounds of shreded cheese
- 9 pounds of shredded lettuce
- 2 monster jars of salsa
- 6 pounds of sour cream
- A big can of Nacho cheese from Sam's club
- and we barely put a dent in it
Speaking of putting a dent in things, there aren't a ton of pictures due to a "camera accident." Visual evidence can be seen below but we couldn't get the cracked filter off the camera at the park so I/we didn't take as many pictures and some of them are flawed as a result of the cracked filter so this will be a short picture post.
Notice the nice dent just above "B+W"..... that was the point of impact. Thankfully it saved the camera lens.
This picture was taken before the camera fell. A few guests helping themselves to the taco bar!
The not-so-happy photographer....
The "I'm so sorry face"
Cupcake tree
Jen's homemade Dora cake...
and Dora cupcakes!
Julianna did blow out her #2 candle all by herself!
The Bean didn't stick around long to open presents but she loves them. Thank you everyone!
